It was a year ago yesterday I started typing about gaming, and it actually seems like just a few small months ago. I’d like to take the time to thank you all for reading and commenting. 😀
Firstly to mark the occasion, I’d like to open it up to ask you lovely readers for any suggestions and comments regarding your reader experience. What would you like to see more, or less, of? Let me know in the comments.
Secondly, on to my gaming plans for the coming autumnal/wintery months…as the temperature is dropping, I find myself making plans to play more. Expect content on Guildwars 2, World of Warcraft and Borderlands 2. I shall also be dedicating October to the newest edition to my gaming arsenal…my 3DS XL. Look out for a handheld review, as well as gaming previews/reviews for Nintendo’s pocket sized tech within the next few weeks.
Some may think of April as a character from the Turtles, me I call it multiplayer month!
After spending the last couple of months playing Skyrim and SSX, which are solo affairs, I feel the need to head back into the gaming community and what better way, than to incorporate the internet in it’s many guises too. So I’ve chosen 4 games to tackle in the 4 weeks of April, I shall blog about my multiplayer experiences and may upload some footage to YouTube if a few of you guys get involved too. Let me know if you will be joining in, by posting a comment with your PSN name, or tweeting @kezla. Or just let me know what you plan to play in April yourself, here’s my schedule;
Hello Gamers, I must apologise, but there shall be no nice long post this week, owing to me being on the poorly side of healthy. I just wanted to stop by to let you know that, should you be into South Park, the first episode of Season 12 is avaliable on the UK PSN Video store for free (SD not the HD version), go download it now, as I’m not sure how long this offer is valid for!
EDIT: Happy Leap Year gamers! I have more store news for you this week, I know, it’s great isn’t it?!
Firstly in the form of Killzone 3, the multiplayer element of the game is released this week on the store and is completely free to download and play! It includes 3 game modes, as well as the original Killzone 3 maps and all Killzone 3 DLC maps. You can play any of the maps and modes until you reach the rank of Sergeant I.
If you want to keep playing, attain higher ranks, and earn any of Killzone 3 Multiplayer’s four exclusive new trophies, you can unlock the full version for only £11.99. Doing so will net you a 24-hour double XP bonus, 3 free unlock points, and the ability to set up clans and custom games. Pretty cool I think, shall be giving this a try myself, having only played a demo of the Killzone games before.
My final piece of joy, is that Resident Evil 2 & 3 hit the store this week, and if you are a Playstation Plus subscriber, these will be avaliable to download for free…for one week only, you have been warned! Plus member also get 50% off the full version of Killzone multiplayer too. Enjoy 🙂
